The DG AGRI Workshop of EU-funded R&I projects on organic farming took place in Brussels between 17-18 June 2025.
From 17–18 June 2025, THEROS joined around 20 project coordinators or their representatives in Brussels at the DG AGRI workshop “EU-funded Research and Innovation for Organic Farming: Leading the Transition Towards Sustainable Farm and Food Systems.”
The event gathered researchers and project coordinators to showcase results from Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects supporting organic farming, as well as to foster networking between the projects and with policymakers.
THEROS project was presented and represented by its coordinator ICCS. Mr. Valantis Tsiakos, Senior Researcher & Division Leader – Earth Observation & Environmental Monitoring, devired a presentation on THEROS project.

The DG AGRI Organics Unit also highlighted a call for applications for the Expert Group for Technical Advice on Organic Production (EGTOP) for the 2026–2029 period, which is now open until 25 July 2025.
