The THEROS 4th Plenary Meeting took place from 26–28 May 2025 in Santiago de Compostela, Spain (with online participation), bringing together all 17 consortium partners to review progress from project months 25 to 30 and prepare for the final phase through month 36.

Organized by MEXILLON and KIWA, the meeting focused on assessing the status of active work packages, coordinating deliverables, resolving technical and operational challenges, and aligning pilot testing strategies.

Day 1 was dedicated to the Spanish pilot and included field visits to Conservas Friscos, Angulas Aguinaga, and the local port to observe mussel unloading. The group also visited the Mexillón de Galicia PDO office, followed by sampling processing and in-depth discussions.

Day 2 centered on presentations covering project progress, tool integration, pilot implementation, and sustainability planning, and concluded with a consortium dinner.

Day 3 addressed risk mitigation, digital product passport (dDPP) testing, field readiness, and collaborative planning for pilot deployments across Spain, Greece, Serbia, and Czechia.

Throughout the meeting, participants engaged in hands-on, interactive sessions to align technical development with real-world needs, ensuring coherence, usability, and readiness for the final project phase.
