The Tenth International Conference on Remote Sensing and Geoinformation of Environment -RSCy2024 took place between 08-09 April, 2024 in Paphos, Cyprus.

The Conference was under the auspices of H.E. the Deputy Minister for Research, Innovation and Digital Policy.

The Keynote Speakers and thought-provoking technical program encouraged the exchange of ideas and provide the foundation for future collaboration and innovation.

The Technical Program was open to all topics in Earth Observation, Remote Sensing, Geo-information of Environment and related techniques and applications.

The conference was an opportunity for THEROS project to unveil its dynamics and innovative approaches in environmental monitoring.

My Kostas Karyotis from the Laboratory of Remote Sensing, Spectroscopy, and GIS, School of Agriculture, Aristotle University of
Thessaloniki, represented THEROS project, towards delivering a presentation entitled “In Situ Soil Spectroscopy for Environmental Monitoring: Case Study in Western Greece Orange Orchards“.

THEROS project photonics-based system for in-situ monitoring of soil properties took center stage during the Agriculture session of RSCy2024, by  showcasing the preliminary results from THEROS Greek Pilot in Western Greece, paving the way for marking significant progress towards sustainable agriculture practices and organic farming certification.
