Biofest 2024 took place on 07-08.10.2024 in Subotica, Serbia.
BIOFEST is a unique place for the meeting of agricultural producers of organic products, where experiences can be exchanged and the sale of goods can be secured. During the festival, numerous program features, promotions and an exhibition of organic food were organized.
This year’s “Biofest” was about organic and conventional agriculture from the aspect of climate change. At this year’s one-day exhibition, organic products from 15 producers were presented. On the second day of the festival, there was the “Day of Organic Farms” at the Sabolča Tružinski Bio-farm , where a seminar was held for farmers from Serbia and Hungary. In addition to the owner of the farm, who talked about the principles of organic production in animal husbandry and agriculture, Florijan Farkaš, an agronomist and producer from Bajmok, introduced the attendees to regenerative agriculture.
THEROS attended the event through its partner OCS, who participated in engaging discussions, sharing knowledge and experiences with colleagues in the field of organic production.
