The Agricultural Cluster “GLS” and the Network of Young Agri-Entrepreneurs – MMA, with the support of the French Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, implemented the project “Training on Organic Fruit and Vegetable Production, which was intended for young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The training included:
- 4 one-day trainings on various topics on organic production
- 15 lecturers with many years of expertise and experience; ️
- Talk to producers who grow fruits and vegetables according to organic principles;
- Joint in-country visit to successful examples of organic producers;
- Information on incentives and public calls for young people in agriculture.
The lecture was held at the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka and agricultural holdings.
On behalf of OCS, Mr. Nenad Novaković, director of the certification company Organic Control System, has participated in the “Training on organic fruit and vegetable production, intended for young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina” as a lecturer. Training was held on 4 dates, and Mr Novaković took part on 1st of November 2024.
During the lecture, he mentioned the THEROS project with a brief oral explanation of what the project’s main objectives and key activities are.
