The SCAR Strategic Working Group (SWG) on Agroecology (SCAR-AE) has centralised and integrated over the last 2 years the efforts for the process of preparing a Horizon Europe partnership on ‘Accelerating farming systems transition: agroecology living labs and research infrastructures’.
THEROS was invited to the 7th SCAR-AE Meeting, that was held online on 22 June 2023, from 14.00 till 17.00 CEST.
Its objective was to present the state of the art of the future Horizon Europe Agroecology Partnership (based on the partnership dossier developed in 2021 by SCAR-AE), to present the final SRIA draft developed by SCAR-AR (https://scar-europe.org/agroecology-documents including the Terms of Reference of SCAR-AE) and to have a project slam session with a wide variety of agroecology-related EU-funded research projects – introducing them to SCAR-AE and by this creating fruitful links between the future partnership and the new Horizon Europe projects in the remit of SCAR-AE.
THEROS project was presented by its coordinator ICCS and Ms. Dimitra Tsiakou, by informing the audience about the projects’ objectives, the geographical distribution of THEROS partners and (first) results, but also how THEROS envisages the linking to the partnership´s SRIA.
