Our Low-Profile Knobs are ideal for building jigs that require clearance for moving parts, or for shop-made hand tools where you want minimal weight and bulk. They make good knobs for light-duty fences on things like drilling templates and bevel gauges. They can also replace those pesky wingnuts that tend to cut into your fingers. Use them in a T-track table to keep odd-shaped workpieces from sliding around during sanding or routing—the round shape of the knob makes good contact, no matter the angle. Even with thin 1/2'' stock, they won't protrude above the work surface, and the soft rubber surround grips without marring.
